The goal was reached, the weekend was really relaxing. Small walks, not to exhaust the futur mum, typical  landscape, with thousands of dafodills. English breakfast in our B&B, followed by pique-niques on the green hills to end by diner in the pub of the 54 inhabitants village where our B&B was.

Thanks to the husband of the pharmacist of the mum of a friend from Orlean, we got 2 tickets first row for the France-England match of the 6 Nation!!!
We were very excited, sure that the game would be close but interresting and that we had a good chance to win. The greatness of the full stadium, the basque music band, our strong players arriving on the field, the french flags and national anthem were already giving us a feeling of victory.

69 seconds after the start of the game, our confidence dropped greatly after the first english try through a 'gruyere cheese' defense. One minute and 34 seconds after the start of the second half of the game, england leading 34 to 0 we no hope anymore. We were just wishing to win at least a penalty not to look too ridiculous and were quite irritated by this english photographer keeping on taking shots of us.
The second half was not as bad as the first one but still we were far from winning when the referry ended the game.

Hopefully we had spent a lovely week-end being taken care of by 2 friends of Nico : Chris and Hannah supporter. However, at this point I have to mention that Hannah - fervent english supporter, didn't show much compassion in the sms she was sending after each english try!

Concerning the photographer, we are very proud because he is famous and thanks to him we had our picture printed in the french sport magazin 'L'equipe magazine'. Lastly, although we've lost we're very proud because not everybody can pretend having a picture of Chabal in their albums. :-)

Hi everybody,
Last Monday, we got the last 5 months scan. The radiolog could only state the truth and she did: our baby is very beautifull and very well behaved.
Baby's all going fine and is not a baby anymore but a 'she' as it looks like it's a little girl. But beware, error is still possible, we just know that at week 20, no boy attribute were visible. :-)
Here are some pictures of the star.

Saturday 14 February 2009

Here is the mum to be at 16 weeks with her belly getting bigger.

Since yesterday, I'm sure I can feel the baby mooving. I was already feeling it around 10 days ago but wasn't sure as it was not for me similar to the feeling of having a butterfly in my belly described in books. But yesterday I put my had on my belly and felt the baby hit on my hand. :-)

Then everything went very fast!
We bought our house and Nico proposed. The wedding will be on the 18th of April 2009.

On the 6th of november 2008, during a night awakeness, I feel like testing something. The test is POSITIF!! It's 3h30 in the morning. The future dad open a very happy half-eye. The camera was not fast enough but the eye did open! :-)

Chatouille was of sharp and quick thinking, he was showing a great interest in his dad activities and his mum cooking. However, it was not feeling too similar to the experience of our friends with their little Louisa.
We then decided to try something else.

Nous avons donc decide d'adopter Chatouille.

We therefore decided to adopt Chatouille.

Comment mieux mettre nos vie a profit?
Des amis nous ont donnes une idee!

How to make the most of our lifes?
Some friend of us gave us an idea.

At this point, I would like to interrupt the story to pay tribute to Marj, my forever beloved Rover Kesington who left us on the 15th of January 2007. I will keep a thankfull and mooved remember of this week in Scotland where she carried my parents, my little brother, me and our luggage providing us all with hapiness and comfort. :-)

Then the young-gentleman showed himself very supportive, the young lady was very touched.
Picture taken after my car accident against a drunk driver driving on the wrong side of the road. I came out of it with a broken knee, a big scare and the chance to realize that you should enjoy life as much as you can as you don't know when it's going to stop.

It was time to meet Parents. Nico's one, then mine. (Picture taken in Saint Emilion with Nico's parents and sister, then picture in Scotland with my parents and little brother, not that little anymore)

We decided to do romantic travel.
Our first travel just with the 2 of us was in Spain where we 'played it' very romantic.
The young lady being shy, she was not wishing for the families to know yet. On the phone with his parents, the young-gentlement was going to Spain with 'a group of mates'. :-)
Here is the picture of the 'group of mates' in the Parador hotel in La Cuenca.
